Raisa Miller, PA-C, joined our practice in 2002 as a Board Certified Physician Assistant. She provides clinical care and treatment to patients referred to our practice for Colonoscopy Screenings, GERD, IBS, and Hepatitis follow-up. Miller has further specialized in the treatment of patients with liver diseases such as HCV, HBV, fatty liver, alcoholic liver diseases, autoimmune hepatitis, hepatobiliary, metabolic and hereditary disorders of the liver. She also serves as coordinator for many of our clinical research studies, particularly concerning liver diseases.
Miller is a graduate of Nova Southeastern University where she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree and a Master of Public Health degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine. Ms. Miller joined GI Care Center after finishing her studies. "There are many successful groups I could have joined, but GI Care Center attracted me the most because I have a particular interest to participate in the care of patient with liver disorders,” said Miller. "I must admit being a part of such a fantastic group of caring physicians has been an added bonus!” She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Florida Academy of Physician Assistants, and the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases.
