Take Steps for Crohn's & Colitis Walk on the Beach

Date: May 15, 2010Time: 3:00 pm
Location:  Crandon Park, Key Biscayne

On Saturday, May 15, 2010,  the doctors and staff at GI Care Center will be walking in Take Steps for Crohn’s & Colitis, the nation’s largest event dedicated to finding cures for digestive diseases.  We have formed "Team GI Care", and we will be raising money for crucial research that wouldn’t even have been possible a few short years ago. Our goal is to raise more than $1,000 for this worthy cause.

More than 1.4 million patients across the country suffer from these painful and unpredictable diseases. Beyond raising money for research, Take Steps brings together the community in a fun and energetic atmosphere. Participants are encouraged to make noise and be heard -- raising awareness of these little-known diseases in their community and across the nation.

You can support our efforts by making a tax-deductible contribution to the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation:

· Donate online at Team GI Care's CCFA webpage

If you would like to do more, you can also join our team and set a fundraising goal for yourself. You can register today by visiting www.cctakesteps.org and following the prompts to register for the Crandon Park, Miami walk on April 18, 2009. When you register, you will receive valuable fundraising tools and information from the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation, in addition to your own personal fundraising Web site.

With your help, we will fund important research and raise awareness of diseases that afflict millions of people. If you have questions about Take Steps or the work of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation, please do not hesitate to contact us (305) 913-0666.  Thank you in advance for your support!
